Teens earnings and spending habits in a Gallup poll

A Gallup poll shows 16 to 18 year olds have about 45 dollars a week to spend while 13 to 15 year olds have around 12. The mini survey of 20 teens finds average weekly income just over 20 dollars, with employed teens earning about 31 and unemployed under 8. Major expenditures include clothing food cars and entertainment. One teen with two jobs nets about 100 dollars weekly, much of which goes to a car loan.
