Youth Cut Incident Leads to Multiple Arrests in Lorain
Early yesterday Lorain police arrested eight youths at a Lorain Drive home during a cutting investigation. Eugene Rios 20 faced charges of disorderly conduct resisting arrest and assaulting an officer after suffering a severed hand wound treated at St Joseph Hospital. Arrested alongside him were Daniel Rodriguez 18 Michael Rios 19 Angel Gutierrez 19 and three others including two 15 year olds and two sisters. One 15 year old was released to parents and another 15 year old was sent to the Lorain County Detention Home as a runaway.

No charges after man shoots neighbor's dog in Ridgeville
North Ridgeville city prosecutor ruled police correctly refused to file charges after Arthur Reimann shot and killed a German Shepherd belonging to Frank Mihalek. Four Lorain youths aged 14 to 16 were arrested by Lorain County deputies after breaking into Clearview High School at 4700 Broadway Sheffield Township.
