Sheffield Lake library levy to get second ballot chance

Sheffield Lake City Council approved certifying two measures to the county elections board for a June ballot. A one mill five year levy would fund the Domankis Library upgrade and materials, while a $1 million storm sewer bond would require property owner payment only where sewers affect them. The bond is to be issued within the city debt limit, with council noting bonds are only a permission step. The council also named Carl Mazur to a Civil Service term and Johan Good to the Park Board to fill an unexpired term.
