Envoys Under Attack In Kabul and Tehran Embassy Seizures
UPI reports Ambassadors Adolph Dubs of Afghanistan and William Sullivan of Iran faced deadly assaults as Shiite extremists seized hotels and embassies. Dubs was killed in Kabul after his kidnapping, while in Tehran leftist guerrillas stormed the U.S. Embassy, taking hostages until Khomeini’s forces freed them.
