Midview to seek 7.5 mill levy to keep district solvent
Midview Schools Board proposes a 10 year emergency 7.5 mill levy to raise about 3 million annually. Superintendent John Kuhn says the district will stay solvent this year and near losses next year if the levy fails, with potential staff and service cuts in 2010 2011. The board will vote Wednesday on placing the measure on the May 4 ballot and seeks more public input at West Elementary School.
