Born in LaGrange he helped start manual training in Ohio schools, served as county clerk of courts, taught at Lake Avenue school, and was a longtime First Methodist Episcopal church secretary. Survived by his widow and son Ralph of Detroit. Body sent to Carl Taylor Funeral Home for arrangements.
