Overheated stove blamed for Ridgeville two family fire
A blaze last night at a two family house in Ridgeville Township caused heavy damage estimated at 1500 dollars. The Lyons occupy the front room side and Hadaway’s side suffered less. Fire started behind a coal stove in the Lyons apartment and spread through partitions to the roof. Fire Chief Hadaway smelled smoke at about 10 30 P M and firefighters thawed frozen hoses, delaying return home until about 4 A M.
