Kenneth H Schulz 1936 2015 Elyria resident dies after long illness
Kenneth H. Schulz 79 of Elyria died December 20 2015 at Mercy New Life Hospice Lorain after a long illness. He worked 43 years at Alltel as a PBX installer retiring in 1998 and co owned Posey Depot with his wife Sharon. He is survived by wife Sharon daughter Dawn Burns and sons Ron Schulz Dean Schulz plus six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held February 6 2016 at the Carlisle Reservation Center with a luncheon to follow burial private. Memorials to Mercy Cancer Center. Train Derailment Sparks Fire in Brewster Railyard
A derailment at the First Street and South Wabash Avenue railyard in Brewster Stark County caused a fire involving a butane tank. No injuries reported as 300 to 500 residents within a half mile evacuated then allowed to return. Hazmat and EPA crews on site amid explosion risk.
