Baby boomers face retirement crisis amid savings shortfalls
Procrastination and mis-timed retirements hit baby boomers as 10,000 turn 65 daily, with pensions shrinking from 39 percent to 15 percent of private workers. Stocks underperform, housing losses leave 11 million homeowners underwater, and many boomers face reduced living standards in retirement.

Ohio Supreme Court backs tax on satellite TV providers
The Ohio Supreme Court 5-2 upheld a 2003 5.5 percent sales tax on satellite TV operators DirecTV and Dish Network. The court ruled the tax does not discriminate against interstate commerce and funds about 54 million dollars for the budget. Justice O Donnell wrote the tax relies on distribution mode rather than origin. A dissent argued the tax is unconstitutional and unequal.
