LaGrange man charged with felonious assault in Ohio Turnpike chase
Laurence Garber, 52, of LaGrange, faces felonious assault, fleeing and eluding, and resisting arrest charges after a 92 mile per hour chase on the turnpike. He allegedly aimed his pickup at Trooper William Head and was later shot with a Taser after abandoning the vehicle in a median. Garber was jailed on bond and bound over to the Lorain County grand jury.

Warmth Nearing as Rain Aims for Northeast Ohio Weekend

Drunken driver linked to five car crash in North Ridgeville
A 35-year-old Ashland County man allegedly ran a red light at Center Ridge and Case roads causing a five car crash. Two people were hospitalized and traffic delayed about an hour as crews cleared the scene. An elderly couple suffered whiplash. No charges filed yet.

Ex-cop seeks sealing of criminal case records

Lorain mom arrested after child found drunk
Lorain police arrested 32 year old Stacy Galvan after she allowed three juveniles to drink on Christmas Eve. Officers found Galvan arguing with two of the children at a Elyria Avenue apartment and she admitted intoxication and lack of control. The youths aged 12 and 13 are her relatives and she said she could no longer handle her children.
