FLOSSIE Christmas program at Community church well received
The Christmas program was held Sunday evening at the Community church with good attendance and well presented by Sunday school classes. The tree was beautifully decorated and Santa distributed gifts to children. Mr and Mrs Henry Worcester and son Teren visited from Obvilin for Sunday dinner with Le Roy Lounsbrough family. Mrs Stanley Garrett remains unchanged after a fall that broke her hip. Several locals attended a Kipton dance Saturday night.

Pittsfield Clubs and Societies Reflect Holiday Gatherings
In Pittsfield on December 26 the Peony Panhandlers met at Mrs. Sheriarne’s home for a joyful day of sewing, a gift exchange, and a tour through the Tower rooms to seek Christmas gifts. The Community Sugely Women’s Society met at Mrs. Walter Grecar’s with twenty nine attendees for a luncheon and postdinner gift exchange. The Men’s Club hosted a church supper at the Methodist church with a smaller crowd due to a storm, followed by a Service Guild program from Oberlin Church and a talk by Dean Graham of Oberlin College.
