Frank McKinley Hubbard, originator of Abe Martin, died at his Indianapolis home after waking with chest pain. A longtime caricaturist for the Indianapolis News, Hubbard aged 52, built Abe Martin into a widely syndicated column and book series begun in 1910. He started in Bellefontaine and worked through Mansfield and Cincinnati before joining the Indianapolis News.

Two motorists were injured in separate accidents reported to police yesterday. Peter J.
