Police give food to needy in North Ridgeville
North Ridgeville Police Association distributed baskets of fresh fruit and vegetables to 11 needy families yesterday. The baskets included potatoes grapefruit apples tangerines tangelos oranges and bananas. Purchases were made at the Cleveland farmer's market and divided among the 11 baskets. Patrolman Ronald A Bauer president of the association said this may become an annual tradition.

Three Elyria youths held over trailer theft case
Three Elyria juveniles aged 14 16 and 17 were taken into custody after a Monday trailer break in at Roadway Express Inc They admitted the theft and led police to hidden items including a power saw merchandise for J C Penney Co valued at about 300 Officials say the trailer contained an interstate shipment and the case will be handled by juvenile authorities.
