Christmas programs and carols spread across Elyria and Lorain County schools Friday as students end a semester and begin two weeks of vacation. At Elyria High, a new microphone system will broadcast a program with mixed chorus, orchestra, and a Christmas scripture. Elementary schools, including Ailen and Franklin, host in-auditorium events with trees, stockings, and class plays. Some grades receive early dismissals for high attendance.

Elyrian 10 Receive Honor At Ohio State Graduation
Two students will receive degrees with distinction and honors in language at the winter graduation exercises of Ohio State University. Bus and street car crash leaves many injured on icy viaduct
