State plans to update service channels in Ohio
Ohio plans a major overhaul of how government delivers services by creating 10 to 15 administrative districts. The Development Department recommends consolidating the current 332 multi county districts and placing state field offices in each new region to cut red tape and remove duplication. Alternatives for district borders consider labor markets commuting and transportation, with local officials needed to approve authority and makeup.
