Reynoldsburg police shot and killed a bank robbery suspect who had used two female employees as shields. Five officers responded to an 11:54 a.m. call and fired as the suspect attempted to drive away with a hostage. The incident, Reynoldsburg’s first fatal shooting, occurred near Union Savings Bank.
A Trumbull County judge ruled Tyson cannot keep a tiger on his Southington Township estate. Judge Mitchell Shaker backed the zoning board’s denial of a dangerous-pets ordinance, rejecting Tyson’s claim that the tiger was for promotional use.
