Slaying Trial Moves Into Sixth Day In Lorain County

The first degree murder trial of William J. Stuart of Sheffield Lake enters its sixth day. He is charged in the stabbing death of Larry Rodgers at 650 Lends St Elyria, with the slaying said to have occurred at 4149 Belle Ave Sheffield Lake. Police testified at length about the scene and injuries as the case unfolded in Lorain County Common Pleas Court.

County college eyes night class reductions

Ohio safety officials report a deathless day on state highways Tuesday, the third this year after incidents on March 7 and April 19 in Summit Portage Geauga and Lake counties.
