Two people died and two others were in serious condition from weekend traffic crashes. Victims include Anthony Sidorovics 50 struck by a hit and run on Washington avenue and 20th street Lorain and Mary Balosz 48 killed en route to St Josephs Hospital after a collision on Walker and Steve Moore roads Avon Lake. A third hit and run victim Nick Tullock 45 was struck on Grove avenue near 29th street Lorain. Police noted another collision on Broad street and several minor crashes with local drivers.

Superintendent Denies Charges of Teachers in Ohio
WEST UNION Ohio December 14 C O Williams superintendent of Winchester schools denied misconduct charges filed by four women teachers. Grade and High School students joined a sympathy strike with about 300 participants. Board president Kirk Short said 50 to 60 pupils walked out. Williams a 17 year veteran claimed the charges are unfounded and said the teachers he trained became his pupils and later his employees.

Nineteen Have Met Waterloo At Gas Station
Matt Gardner, a gray haired one armed gas station proprietor on Oberlin road near Elyria, shot three youths and wounded one during a burglary at his isolated station. The wounded 18 year old Nick Germano remained in critical condition from gunshots to thigh shoulder and abdomen. Gardner fired on the four as they fled in a car and assisted by sheriff deputies, the suspects identified as Jack Brano and Anthony Tanno.
