Mr and Mrs Thomas R White of Lorain celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on December 2. They wed in 194 in Christian Temple Disciples of Christ Lorain. He served in the Ohio 37th Division during World War II and retired in 1988 from Lorain County Community College after 22 years in physical plant maintenance. He chairs F&AM No 552 and volunteers with RSVP and hospital auxiliaries. She is a retired Lorain City Schools teacher active as a literacy tutor and trainer with Project Life. They have two sons and a daughter, six grandchildren, and held an open house at Christian Temple with family dinners at the Holiday Inn Elyria.
