John Tite of Elyria died at his home 415 Elm Street after a long life in the city. Born April 7, 1853 in Southampton England he moved here with his parents and joined his father’s meat market. He was a charter Odd Fellow and Knights of Pythias member, celebrated golden wedding anniversary in 1927, survived by widow Mary and five sons Charles Fred John Elzie and Arthur with two grandchildren. another son Walter preceded him. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 PM from the home, burial in Ridgelawn with Odd Fellows in charge.
