Man indicted in baby's death in Elyria
Lorain man Charles Brassfield age 23 faces murder and related counts over the May 24 death of 8 month old Desiree Wade while babysitting at an East 29th Street apartment. Prosecutors say blunt head trauma caused skull fractures brain injuries and retinal hemorrhaging. the death is ruled a homicide. Brassfield is jailed on 750000 bond.

Bridge painting to restart on Kerstetter Way
