Bengals lose receiver Myers for six weeks
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chip Myers will be out at least six weeks after fracturing both forearm radius bones in Saturday's game with St Louis. Myers, who led the team in receptions last season, is in a cast on one arm and a sling on the other following the Riverfront Stadium clash. Bengals trainer Mary Pollins said the injuries occurred when Myers attempted to break his fall and his own weight contributed to the damage. Also hurt in the win over the Cardinals was Mike Reid with a sprained injury described as brutal by coach Paul Brown.
