Ohio Old Age Pension reforms urged in Columbus
Henry J. Berrodin, head of the state Old Age Pension Division, urged abolishing county boards and centralizing authority in the state division. A Carlisle youth aged 16 and a 12 year old Elyria boy admitted breaking into the LaGrange and Diagonal Roads little red school in Carlisle. They caused about 250 in damage destroying a plane, five geographical naps, a globe, graphone records, pictures and teachers records. They said they did it because they disliked school. Deputies Nau and Chapman secured confessions and the case was reported by Bert Squire. The boys were turned over to county juvenile authorities.
