Speaker Outlines Essentials of A Good Job
Elyria Rotarians heard Harry Felers of the University School Cleveland outline seven elements of a good job including challenge, status, a good boss, loyalty to an institution, a meaningful role, and positive relations. He warned of specialization eroding broad knowledge and urged play to rest the mind. He discussed university boys needs and Rotarians planned district golf tournament participation at Vermilion. A note recalls War Buddles Meet Port Clinton and a chance encounter with Elmer Reach, plus a historic Gallows Hill in Inveraray marked today by a mound and a tree on a small golf course.
