Colonial Home Of Crehore Family In Elyria Preserves Past
The Crehore residence at East Avenue and Sixth Street in Elyria, built on land dating to 1824, preserves early Connecticut Western Reserve roots. Inside, a central hall, oak railing, Deerfield wallpaper, and a mix of antique furnishings including 32 bisque headed dolls, a 19th century organ, and family silver reflect years of Crehore history and heirlooms.
