Kiwanians Hear Talk On Air Conditioning by Elyria Man
Elyria Kiwanis Club heard Edward Hayes of Fox Fur Nance Co. discuss air conditioning, predicting 50 percent of new home HVAC gear by 1936, noting winter use and health benefits, plant expansion plans, and rising national advertising. He warned of rising competition trimming profits, yet anticipated broad adoption and economic gains for Elyria. Adjutant Amore prepared transport for a dozen children to Salvation Army Camp at Greenwood Lake, aided by local suppliers and volunteers.
