Lawrence M. Giannini, 57, president of Bank of America and a major financial figure, died at Franklin Hospital after a lingering illness. Harold T. Gaehr aged 47 of 517 Foster Park road was found dead by a neighbor yesterday evening. He last seen at 2 p.m. death likely from a heart attack though coroner’s verdict pending. Born in Pittsburgh he lived in Amherst for years and worked as a production clerk at Thew Shovel Company in Lorain. He was a member of First Evangelical and United Brethren church and a WWII veteran. Surviving are four sisters and three nieces. Funeral at Zilch Funeral Home Amherst Friday at 1 p.m. Rev. Vandersall officiating. Burial Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday.

Four Accidents Damage Automobiles in Elyria Area
Four minor crashes were reported by the Elyria Police Department. On Lodi Street Bridge yesterday afternoon two cars traveling east collided. Clyde C. Kieffer's parked car on Broad Street sustained rear door damage. Mrs. Evelyn M. Scott denied knowledge of nearby damage. Jeannette C. Sheppard's car was struck by a backing vehicle driven by Mrs. Bessie L. Loll, who could not show a valid license and was released on bond for a Mayor's court appearance on August 21. Mikolai Terebecki was charged with failing to yield after hitting Romey J. Coon, whose car was parked on Woodford Avenue. Terebecki, with a temporary permit, was alone in his vehicle.
