Auto slump drags down June industrial output
UPI reports the U.S. industrial production fell 0.1 percent in June as auto output dropped over 3 percent, offsetting gains elsewhere. Naples mother bears eight babies in medical record bid
In Naples Italy hospital officials reported a woman gave birth to eight babies three boys and five girls the most live births in medical history. The mother Mrs Pasqualina Chiasnese is in good condition and the octuplets were moved to Naples area hospitals for intensive care. Previously a six child birth ended in all infants dying. Guinness had recorded six as the prior high.

Lorain jury clears suspects in Moore kidnapping case

Record cold hits area with 99 year low at airport
A Wednesday low of 45 at Cleveland Hopkins Airport broke a 99 year record, surpassing the 1880 48 degree mark. Local observer Ray Diederich logged 46 degrees in North Ridgeville, beating the 1950 record of 50.
