Perch fishing improves in the Western Basin near Camp Perry buoys and between Lakeside and Kelleys Island. Largemouth bass in harbors along Catawba and Marblehead. Walleye caught from Cranberry Creek to Avon Point in 30 to 40 feet, plus deeper spots near Edgewater, Wildwood, Ashtabula, and Conneaut. best colors purple blue pink. ODNR Holds Lottery for Duck Blind Permits at Ohio Parks
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources announces a lottery for more than 270 duck blind permits to hunt ducks and geese on select state park lakes. Drawings occur Aug 20 at 17 parks with in person registration. Winners pay a 50 dollar non refundable fee and must construct blinds within 45 days, dismantling by March 15, 2017. ODNR Announces Ohio Public Dock Lottery For 2017 Season
The ODNR will hold a lottery for boat owners to rent public docks across six Ohio marinas for the 2017 boating season. Applications due by August 31, with drawings in September. winners may renew for up to five years.
