The Fair Minded Coalition of Lorain County launched a Change.org petition seeking to ban Confederate flag sales at Lorain County Fair. By 8 p.m. Wednesday it had 65 of the 100 signatures sought.
A petition calls for banning Confederate flag sales at Lorain County Fair citing offense and controversy. Fair Board President Brian Twining declined comment while noting focus on 2016 fair. previous requests from officials and coalitions were rejected as a free speech issue.
