Lorain County Lands 4.3 Million USDA Sewer Loan
Lorain County is awarded a 4.3 million dollar USDA loan to fund a 4.5 mile sewer line from the Pheasant Run development in LaGrange Township to the LaGrange wastewater plant. The 40 year loan at 2.25 percent will lower homeowner charges, with project costs around 4.1 million and completion hoped for in 2018. The current small plant will be shut after upgrades and line completion.
