Ohio troopers report sharp rise in heroin seizures
Ohio troopers seized more than 53 kilograms of heroin from January through June 2016 nearly seven times the amount a year earlier. A late June bust along I 76 near Akron yielded 6 kilos of heroin and a half pound of cocaine.
