Federal report notes duck population rebound in North America

Highway deer kill up in six months in Ohio report

Biologists say highway collisions reveal deer abundance aiding game management. In the first six months of 1965 Ohio recorded 409 accidental deer kills, 34 percent above the prior period, with Trumbull leading at 44, Ashtabula 36, and Williams counties also noted.
