Planning rules thwart Oberlin apartment plans
Oberlin landlord W F Gaeuman may scrap an eight unit addition to Robin Park Apartments after the planning commission rejected his plans for missing details such as a development schedule garbage disposal plan and usable open space. The commission will not review until formal application details accompany it. Developer James Gilchrist faces similar delays over a larger complex between FAA entrance and Carter's Nursing Home with plans deemed incomplete lacking sidewalk storm sewer and lighting details. The panel refused waivers and required old plans be submitted to city council before new submissions or agenda items on August 28.
