Grafton woman dies in stair fall
Lorain County deputies report 41 year old Mrs Jonr Mo Hirehar died after falling on basement stairs in Grafton. Husband Dame 45 found asleep then awoke around 2 to uncover the body. Death ruled accidental by Coroner Robert Thomas.

Sullivan girl from Black River dies in Peru plane crash
Margie Book 16 the first Black River High exchange student was staying in Peru when a Kansas Airlines flight crashed in the Andes. She was a junior, FFA queen, cheerleader, band member, 4-H and Beta Club, and planned to compete at the Ohio State Fair. Her sister Jo Ann said Margie asked to extend her stay to September. Ann Morrow 18, from South Central High Greenwich, was among the 97 aboard and had just graduated. both girls had been part of a Buffalo New York exchange sponsorship.

An eight year old Berea boy was killed when he fell beneath race track sprinkling equipment near Belden. He and his father rode to watch then pulled a trailer. the child lost his balance and was crushed under wheels. The death was ruled accidental by the coroner.
