Married couple challenge tax law and lose in court
Ellicott City pair Angela Boyter and David Boyter fight tax rules they say punish dual earners by forcing marriage or cohabitation. The U.S. Tax Court ruled they owe $3,135.34 in back taxes for 1975 and 1976 after divorces abroad and remarriages.
