Lake Erie WaterFest planned for Avon Lake Saturday
Avon Lake Regional Water hosts Lake Erie WaterFest from noon to 8 p.m. at Miller Road Park to highlight pollution issues and promote personal action. The event features kids activities, lake-themed demos by groups like the Coast Guard and DNR, free paddle sports clinics, art displays, live music, a triathlon and an aquathon, with proceeds supporting lake protection and cleanup awareness.
