Shaw, 90, sentenced to four years for mercy killing
Robert Shaw, 90, received four years for involuntary manslaughter after admitting he killed his wife Virginia to end her suffering. Alcohol not ruled factor in fatal crash in Medina County
Corrine Reid 25 of Medina died in a July 19 single vehicle crash on Cowley Road near Crocker Road after her Jeep Liberty left the road. Ohio Highway Patrol toxicology showed a blood alcohol content of .039 below the legal limit and no texting. She was not wearing a seat belt and troopers continue to probe the cause.
