Night fire at Holiday Inn leaves multiple dead
Cambridge fire devastates Holiday Inn as a mother dies, a young woman escapes with a baby after leaping from a second floor window. Dennis Cain, a Buckeye security guard on scene, recalls pulling victims from smoke filled halls while firefighters work. Race director and police adjust the C T Elyria Distance Classic course to reduce Abbe Road traffic. Runners will cross Abbe at Burns Road after the Lorain County Community College station then proceed via Whitman to Howard Wesley Duffey and onward to Georgetown Rosewood and the finish in front of the college center.
