Deputy wounds fleeing suspect during marijuana search
A 28 year old Elyria man was shot in the stomach by a Lorain County deputy as he fled. Deputy Christopher Sams fired from about 20 feet away after Findon reached into his jacket while running across Grafton Road near the Pioneer Lounge. Findon was listed in serious condition at Elyria Memorial Hospital after surgery.
