Four armed men rob Wells Fargo of nearly fifty million
Four robbers aged 40 to 45 overpowered Wells Fargo employees at a New York terminal early today and fled in an armored truck with an estimated 25 to 50 million dollars. The heist occurred around 1:45 am in lower Manhattan. no guards were present and the vault was opened under threat. Police described the attack as a major, professional operation with minimal risk to workers.

A Cleveland man, James R. Daurelio, 19, fled at 115 mph on I-90 east of the Route 8 3 interchange. Avon and Westlake police stopped the vehicle with a roadblock near Columbia Road. Daurelio was charged with speeding reckless operation and fleeing and held on $1,500 bond in Avon City jail awaiting Avon Lake Municipal Court.
