Rosanna Boyle ten of 146 Elbe street was seriously injured when struck by a car driven by Mrs A W Jones of Adelbert street on Lake avenue near St Agnes school. She suffered possible skull fracture and other injuries and was taken home then to hospital for X rays. Two other minor accidents were reported on Cleveland and Broad streets and at the East 85th street bridge in the same period.

New York investors led by Robert R. Young and Frank F. Kolbe with Allan P. Kirby disclosed plans to split the Van Sweringen holdings into two railroad systems centered on the Missouri Pacific and Chesapeake & Ohio. Whittemore Plan urged for three-year delinquent taxes
County Treasurer W. J. Wright urged using the Whittemore Plan for payment of delinquent taxes as the county auditor will advertise three years of delinquent parcels within a month. The attorney general ruled the plan cannot be used after property is advertised and owners should act now. All three-year delinquent taxes must be advertised under Amended Senate Bill 466.

Planes Land Safely in Dust Storm Near Cheyenne
Two transport planes with 11 passengers and five crew aboard were landed safely after a blinding dust storm. High school teachers in Sterling, Colorado, relayed SOS signals to summon 1,000 local cars to illuminate the runway for a safe landing.
