Hovnanian settles with EPA over stormwater violations
Hovnanian Enterprises approved a settlement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency after civil penalties of 1 million dollars for violations in 18 states and the District of Columbia. The decree requires a program to control stormwater runoff at current and future sites, with Ohio not listed for mandatory remediation.
