Canadiens stun Bruins in seventh game to end Boston's dynasty

Montreal rookie goalie Ken Dryden turned aside 46 Boston shots as the Canadiens beat the Bruins 4-2 in the Stanley Cup quarterfinals. Montreal moves on to face the Minnesota North Stars in the semifinals, while Boston exits after a record-setting season. Dryden credited his calm in relief of the pressure, saying it felt no greater than past competitions. The Bruins led early but Montreal surged with goals from Houle, Tremblay, and Mahovlich, sealing the series comeback.
