Each cross recalls friends or relatives and underscores her belief that Christians should honor Christ's suffering beyond Easter.

High winds trigger regional power outages across Cleveland suburbs

Strong late night winds toppled lines leaving about 100 Elyria 50 Columbia Township and roughly 3000 residents in western Cuyahoga County without power. James Markle of Ohio Edison said homes near West Ridge Green mobile park and Boone Road area lost service shortly before midnight. By 2 a.m. Lorain County was reenergized but about 600 CEI customers in Berea and Middleburg Heights remained out this morning. Most outages in the county were in Cleveland western suburbs and were resolved by morning except for those two communities.
