Five building permits were issued at city hall yesterday. H C Edenwood received the largest permit for a brick house costing about 000 with dimensions 26 by 44 at 2409 Harvard avenue Ward 3. Thomas A Smith was authorized to build a frame dwelling costing 4500 at East Fifteenth Street out lot 65, 24 by 26. B W Baird to build a frame addition 8 by 10 at 407 Blaine Street. The City Antyu and Wrecking Co asked for a frame shed 15 by 30 at Lodi Street and Park Avenue, costing 120. J B Gordon to construct a frame chicken coop costing 100 at 114 East Bridge Street. Service Director James A Hewitt approved the permit.

Seed Tests Save Farmers $28900 in Ohio Counties
In six weeks ending March 19, seed germination tests in Hardin Butler Logan and Crawford counties showed 37524 ears tested with 10345 discarded for lacking germination.
