Nine Lorain County nutrition sites that serve Senior Citizen lunches are being made more accessible to handicapped citizens under state law. Jean Howard, Title VI coordinator at Lorain County Community Action Agency, says barriers are being eliminated at all sites. The program is administered by Neighborhood House Association of Lorain County on contract with the Ohio Commission on Aging and is funded in part by the Older Americans Act, providing seniors one third of daily nutritional requirements Monday through Friday.
