Billy Graham Seeks Welterweight Title From Robinson
New York boxer Billy Graham, 27, eyes Ray Robinson for the welterweight crown, saying he can beat him at 147 pounds. Graham vows to fight anywhere, anytime and notes Robinson’s weight issues for a June or July title defense. He recalls beating Robinson years ago and cites his steady rise, plans to retire in a couple of years, and his seven week old son Billy IT. A christening at home and Irving Cohen as manager frame the motivation behind his title chase.
