Elyria Man Sustains Facial Lacerations In Route 254 Crash
Herman Vochner 75 of 25 East Avenue was injured in a one night crash on Abbe Road three quarters of a mile north of Route 254. His car skidded on abandoned rails and went into a ditch. He was taken to Elyria Memorial Hospital with a deep laceration above the left eye and nasal fractures. Richard Rovan, his son, drove him to the hospital and the sheriff's office forwarded the report to Sheffield police chief Fred Winter.
