Dr. Charles B. Ketcham 63 longtime Methodist leader and Mount Union College president died after a heart attack while speaking on the phone. Funeral services set for Monday at 2 p.m. at Union Avenue Methodist Church Alliance with officiants including Dr. W. Stanley Smith and Bishop Hazen G. Werner. Ketcham served as Elyria Home for the Aged trustee and president, led Oberlin and Warren churches, and headed the Cleveland District before joining Mount Union. Young Motorist Killed in Auto Collision Near Bellefontaine
Ivan Duane Martin, 22, of Richwood, died when his car collided near Bellefontaine Thursday night. Three others were critically injured in the crash. The victims were rushed to local hospitals for treatment. Police investigated the cause of the wreck and filed no charges at this time.
